Amazing! You walk in and are greeted, they kept my drink filled and are so on top of everything. I had a to go order and the lady made sure she put the order in at the perfect time so I could take it home to my grandpa while it was still warm. Amazing place and highly recommend! I will definitely be going back as much as I can. My grandpa loved the cheese burger. My ham and cheese was amazing.
Great local cafe lots of selections service is excellent.Food is top notch.They are closed on mondays and they do get very busy right at peak lunch hour.I usually try and get there about eleven thirty.You can park on the street outfit or around the corner.Great restaurant love eating there.Every time i'm in town I love their grilled chicken salad. One of the other members of the group was with us had to meet loaf and said it was outstanding.
Such a wonderful place for a meal! BLT was stacked high, grilled cheese had multiple cheeses. Fruit cups were fresh with a delightful side dip. Fresh iced tea--unsweet--came with fresh orange slices.
We arrived at the Central City Cafe right before they were shutting down for 10 days for vacation, and because of that, they had not re-ordered some of their food. We really wanted to try the meat loaf, but we were sorry to hear they had run out. However, the cheeseburgers we had instead were REALLY good, loaded with cheese, and huge! The menu had a lot of great comfort foods, and we look forward to a return trip someday when they're fully stocked. Service was excellent, and no fewer than 3 people came to our table to be sure we were happy. This is a small casual place with great food and great people. Highly recommended!

The homemade foods served here are absolutely scrumptious, evoking a nostalgic taste that reminds you of great home cooking growing up. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through, Central City Cafe is a must-visit for a hearty meal, welcoming ambiance, and a taste of homemade goodness that'll leave you craving more. One of my new fave eating spots in Huntington!
Comfy atmosphere! Locals favorite! I had a delicious burger ! The Rueben looked good too ! We were all satisfied with what we got.
Quaint family restaurant serving home cooking. Everything is made on sight. Excellent coleslaw, potatoes salad, chicken salad. My wife had the cold plater and I had a BLT on real rye bread, not the square deli bread but an actual baked eye bread. When we are back in town we will definitely stop again. Just home cooking. Yummy. I don't think you will be disappointed with anything you order.
Very fresh and delicious food, Coffee was hot and fresh, and tasted amazing, the chili and cornbread is a requirement, the chili was hot, the cornbread was soft and hot almost like it was just pulled from the oven, and who has ever gotten a side salad with bacon? Well this place has it, some of the freshest food ive had from a restraunt in YEARS, the staff is very friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and as far as a wait time, which im sure the time we went at 2pm there was no wait for a table, 10/10 recomened stopping by here!
Old fashioned American home-style cooking. Very good food. My wife (63 yrs old) said the meatloaf tasted like her grandmother's and the mashed potatoes were home made. Highly recommend this place.
